Rurality is a documentary series that acts as an honest love letter to my home state and region. Growing up in Wyoming, I came to understand the challenges that rural populations face daily. This is made all the more difficult for those who live outside of these regions to understand, with shows like Yellowstone misrepresenting what living here is like. But I have also come to grasp how this misunderstanding goes both ways. Ultimately this series is a conversation to help both rural and metropolitan people understand each other through the lens of an icon all have experience with, the cowboy.
